Peer Editing

I think peer editing is a useful tool because it helps you see mistakes that you didn't see when writing your essay. It also gives another opinion on your writing. Generally though, I dislike peer editing because I feel like it isn't that beneficial. There have been multiple times when my partner has not given me sound advice/not cared enough to really help me. It can also be an awkward situation because you don't want to be overly critical of someone's work and have them think that you're being me. So in the end, I think it's a good way to get an initial opinion on your work, but I can't say that it has been very helpful for me in the past.
