After reading the articles, “Is Google Making Us Stupid” and “”Is Stupid Making Us Google” I noticed many similarities and differences between the messages in the article. In both articles, there is the accusation that the use of and speed of the internet is changing how we read. Both articles say that the easy accessibility of information has made readers only be able to read little bits at a time. I agree with these statements because I was counting down the pages I had left and found my mind wondering while reading. Both articles differ in that the article, “Is Google Making Us Stupid” is afraid that the internet and use of Google will make us too smart. There is talk in the article talk that super computers are being developed to make people smarter. In the other article, “Is Stupid Making Us Google” there is more concern that the internet is making people less intelligent and the upcoming generations will not be as productive as previous generations because they are used to instant gratification when looking for the answers to questions. Both articles pose very valid points and I think they are both correct. We are used to quickly finding the answers to questions and in a way the internet is making us smarter because he have infinite knowledge at our disposal, but we do not have to do a lot of work to find these answers.
This blog is a forum for our class to discuss ideas for writing, comment on readings, and generally communicate outside of the classroom about various topics in reading and writing.

I think we had similar ideas of what the authors were talking about. Even though you mentioned you think both are correct, I'm curious to know if you have a certain leaning towards one side or the other. That's the hardest thing I have getting out of this. I dont know which one holds more truth.
