Rhetorical Analysis
My topic for the Rhetorical Analysis comes from the Time Magazine article; The Case Against College Education. It seems like nowadays a postsecondary educations is absolutely necessary for a decent job in the future. The economy is on the fences, and job opportunities are slim. A high school degree just won't cut it anymore. This article takes the perspective that society's standards and expectations are set too high. To put it simply, college isn't for everyone. Who's to say that the only way to get a good job, is by spending tens of thousands of dollars on a higher education. The argument being made is that the K-12 education program should be more rigorous so college isn't as big of a deal.
