Project #3 Blog Post

The “what” question for my research proposal is what rights animals deserve with regards to proper treatment in the food industry and animal viewing. I believe this is important because animals are an important part of the circle of life and deserve to be treated well, not just like products because they are living creatures like us. This is a relevant topic because the current animal right laws are very loose causing animals to be poorly treated daily. I plan to either focus my paper on the treatment of zoo animals or the food industry because it is such a broad topic. I’m currently leaning toward zoo animals. I’ve always been interested in this topic because it is very over looked. It might seem small compared to others conflicts in the world but it is one that will continue to get worse. Once it does and gets the attention it needs it will be to late.
